Papers are welcome that assess the political fallout of COVID-19 either as a comparative study or as a single country case study. Examples of questions that may be addressed are: 

• How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted on electoral rules and institutions, and the credibility of electoral results? 
• How did the COVID-19 pandemic impact the meaning and maintenance of order during and after elections? 
• To what extent has the COVID-19 pandemic had a transformative impact on national political (legislative and/or judicial) processes? 
• How did other structural factors (internal and external) combine with the COVID-19 pandemic to influence electoral processes and outcomes? 
• What is the role of technology — especially social media — in influencing elections during and after the COVID-19 pandemic?
