We cordially invite you to the opening of the exhibition by Dagmar Šubrtová — sculptor, painter, and curator — One as Everything,

on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 5:00 PM in the lecture hall of the Institute of Geophysics.

In her paintings, the artist focuses on places with an industrial past, collecting materials for some of her works in former quarries and on spoil heaps — the waste mounds left after coal mining or iron processing. The exhibition presents paintings created through a controlled process. The collected materials are interconnected within the artworks, some of them partially hand-embroidered, in micro-layers of crushed minerals, clay, salts, and acidic solutions.

The exhibition will also be open on weekdays from May 7 to September 4, 2026.
