SGA Solutions has obtained Good Software (GS) certification for its zero trust-based integrated identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) solution.
SGA Solutions said Aug. 13 that its “SGA ZTA ICAM” became the first ICAM solution in South Korea to receive GS certification.
GS certification is a nationally recognized software quality certification that comprehensively evaluates software functionality, reliability, and usability. SGA Solutions said the certification demonstrates that the solution meets software quality standards required by public institutions and other organizations.
As the adoption of generative artificial intelligence (AI) expands, the need to manage not only user accounts but also non-human identities (NHIs), including service accounts and application programming interface (API) accounts, is growing. As the use of AI agents increases, the number of digital accounts and access privileges that companies must manage internally is also expected to rise.
SGA ZTA ICAM integrates account, authentication, and authorization management, and access-policy functions based on user and account information. It establishes user accounts as a new security perimeter, grants each user the minimum required privileges, and continuously verifies access activity. For security personnel managing large numbers of accounts, the platform provides user-information collection and distribution, process management, threat analysis, and self-service functions through a single platform.
In a zero trust environment, ICAM serves as the policy decision point (PDP). It establishes access policies based on users’ identities and authorization information and distributes them to individual systems to implement the principle of least privilege and continuous verification.
SGA Solutions plans to use the GS certification as a springboard to expand its ICAM business across various industries, including public institutions, financial services, and manufacturing.
