Hampshire wedding photographer Cat Brant
Wedding photographer reviewCat was honestly the most amazing photographer, she made us feel so at ease before and on our big day. It was like having a friend around to guide you through the day.
Memorable and best wedding momentsWe hosted a drag bingo with Queera Lynn and it was the best part of the day and the most loved moment by the guests.
Venue name + reviewNorthbrook park. Wonderful venue, wonderful staff and all round perfect venue
Tell us a little about your outfits – both of you!Shannon – I wore a long lace fitted fishtail dress from ethical bridal brand Grace Loves Lace, pointed block heel satin shoes, 3 drop pearl earrings
Nick – black and white tux with William Morris strawberry thief braces and bow tie and ammonite cufflinks
Dress – Wild Flora Ltd, earrings Astrid and Miyu and Liberty in Love. Shoes Lace and Favour. Groom – Cufflinks Hepburn and Hughes, Suit- Hawes and Curtis, Bow tie and braces – Van Buck England
Florist name + reviewMy mother in law Amanda Sharp (Nick’s mum) is a professional florist and she took care of all the arrangements alongside her friends Nikki and Tara. The flowers were stunning and everyone couldn’t sing her praises more throughout the day. They brought tears to my mum’s eyes when she first walked in the ceremony room to help with setting up.
Cake maker name + reviewMy aunt Jane – janeycakes. My aunt made our cake as a gift as she’s a wonderful baker. We wanted something simple, elegant and delicious and she managed to hit the mark on all of those things.
Any crafty projects or homemade styling touches?I made our stationery. Our homage to the Natural History museum which is where we had our first date almost 12 years ago.
Wedding ceremonyWritten by us and largely saying the exact same thing to one another about our love of wildlife and travelling and time together
Hair + makeup name + reviewClaire Hayes Makeup – Claire was phenomenal from start to finish, so professional and fun to be around. She made me look and feel the best I’ve ever felt.
CateringJacaranda Catering – best food ever! We had so many compliments
Hi, I'm Claire, the editor of English Wedding. I've been sharing real weddings, planning advice and styled editorials by amazing wedding suppliers for more than ten years. As a supplier myself, I launched English Wedding as a platform for UK wedding businesses to stay visible online, publishing their beautiful work in a meaningful way - because I see how deeply suppliers care about everything they do. English Wedding has evolved to support a slower, more sustainable kind of visibility for wedding suppliers. Being published here protects your brand voice while helping couples discover your business, building trust through consistent features over time.
