It's no secret that 007 First Light has been a commercial success, with the game selling over 1.5 million copies in its first 24 hours out of the gates. Now, just shy of three months after launch, IO Interactive has announced that sales for First Light have officially surpassed 4 million units across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation 5.

Following the announcement, IO Interactive also reaffirmed that it plans to launch the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light, which is expected to further bolster sales, and it has big plans for its first year of content updates.

The year-one content roadmap makes specific mention of the following being added to the game:

• New Tactical Simulation updates with new challenges across several locations
• New missions following intelligence about Webb Industries and unknown tech, and one about Bond forming an alliance between MI6 and the Pirate King Bawma
• New weapons, gear, cosmetics, and gameplay scenarios

The studio also suggested that it is investigating campaign replayability with a New Game+ mode, but that has not been confirmed.
