A frustrated motorbike rider has lashed out at the parents of teenagers dirt biking on busy suburban roads after a group allegedly attacked him when he tried to help one.

The man took to social media with vision from his motorbike's dashcam after he claims he was falsely accused by a group of teenagers of running their friend's dirt bike off the road in North Lakes, Brisbane last week.

'Can parents be parents?' he said in a post on Saturday.

The motorcyclist claimed the group of three teenage boys, all on dirt bikes, were travelling over 60km/h while weaving through traffic from Anzac Avenue, a major road, to Capestone Boulevard in nearby Mango Hill.

'The kid on the two-stroke dirt bike comes off and has an accident,' he wrote. 'I stop to help, and he says he needs to go to hospital so I call the police as there has been an accident.' 

He claimed at that point the two other 'kids' dressed in black and dark brown 'assaulted' him and tried to flee before police arrived.  

He said the motorbike rider who crashed was trying to reason with the other boys when yet another group of 'young adults' stepped in.

'The kids tell them I caused the accident by forcing the other bike off the road,' he wrote.

Footage from the motorcyclist showed him several metres away from the teenagers on the bikes as they overtook a car shortly before a roundabout.

The video then shows one of the boys on the ground with his dirt bike half on the footpath. He appeared to have fallen after hitting the curb.

The motorbike rider said he wasn't seeking to press charges but reiterated his call for the children's parents to intervene.

'For the parents of these kids - I'm not worried about the assault and have told the cops that,' he said.

'But for f***'s sake if you have any love at all for them, take their bloody bikes away before they kill themselves or someone else.'

The Daily Mail has contacted Queensland Police for comment.

Dozens of commenters under the motorbike rider's post similarly called for parents to crackdown on bad behaviour.

'There is no sensible way to describe the parents that allow this,' one wrote.

'To the parents who know exactly who these kids are, please control them before they die,' another said.

'Their parents should be charged with neglect,' another fumed. 

In Queensland, dirt bikes cannot legally be ridden on public roads and footpaths or even on general public land.

Only dual-sport or factory road-legal bikes can get the required compliance plates and documentation and be registered.

Dirt bikes are allowed on trails in state forests but they must be specifically indicated as allowing trail bikes.

E-bikes are permitted on roads only if their speed is capped at 25km/h but not on motorways.
