What's Tiny Fugitives about?
Growing up, did you ever have so much fun at summer camp that you thought, Hey, what if we never left? Well, that's exactly what this determined group of 12-year-olds thinks and tries to accomplish in this new Seth Rogen-produced hilarious comedy.
After having one of the best summers of their lives and dreading the idea of going back to reality, they hatch a chaotic plan to spend the rest of their lives at sleepaway camp. Except there's one problem. Bob, the 50-year-old lifer counselor, is standing in their way and will stop at nothing to thwart their plans.
The entire thing is so genuinely laugh-out-loud funny that you'll likely find yourself cry-laughing for most of it, and wanting all of your friends to watch it, too.
Who's starring in Tiny Fugitives?
Johnny Knoxville stars as Bob. Of course, he's best known as the co-creator and star of Jackass (2000–2002) and its subsequent movie franchise. Most recently, he hosted the reboot of Fear Factor and starred in the fifth and final Jackass film, Jackass: Best and Last.
Benjamin Pajak is best known for starring as a teenage Chuck in Mike Flanagan's The Life of Chuck. He's also an accomplished theater actor, having starred in The Music Man on Broadway in 2022. Currently, Benjamin stars as Sam Emerson in the Tony Award-winning musical, The Lost Boys, which is now on Broadway.
Aaron Harris is best known for starring as Alfie Kingston in Matlock, alongside Kathy Bates. He also voiced Greg in Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Last Straw.
Blake Anderson is best known for his comedic work alongside Anders Holm, Adam DeVine, and Kyle Newacheck. Most notably in Workaholics, which he co-created. He's also appeared in shows like Abbott Elementary, Woke, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Big Bang Theory, and more. He also voiced Matt Holt in Voltron: Legendary Defender.
Jay Baruchel is best known for his work in comedies like Knocked Up, Tropic Thunder, This Is the End, and more. He voiced Hiccup in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise as well. Jay has also starred in TV shows such as Undeclared and Man Seeking Woman.
And the film includes a great group of up-and-coming young actors, including Isa Steiner, Jai Soundar, Alyssa Gervasi, and more.

Yes, there is! The trailer opens with everyone having fun at camp, and then they decide to hatch their secret plan to try and stay forever and never go home.
What ensues is a chaotic Home Alone-like adventure with various traps and ideas as the kids try desperately to outsmart Bob in the hopes of staying in their happy place forever.

Who directed, wrote, and produced the movie?
The film was directed and co-written by Michael Lewen, who previously produced movies like Trainwreck and The King of Staten Island. It was also co-written by Jacob Kaplan, with this film marking his first feature.
Seth Rogen's production company, Point Grey Pictures, also produced Tiny Fugitives. They are behind films like Neighbors, Sausage Party, Blockers, Good Boys, Joy Ride, and more.
When is the release date?
Tiny Fugitives will hit theaters on Sept. 18, 2026.
