We encourage you to check back often for answers to more questions you may have as you prepare for the test.Will my August 2026 LSAT score be released on August 26? Yes, it will be released as long as you have no holds on your account and an approved reportable LSAT Argumentative Writing sample on file. Please log in to JD Services and navigate to LSAT/LSAT Argumentative Writing to review if there is an approved reportable writing sample in your account. You do not need to complete LSAT Argumentative Writing again if your status shows “Complete.”Will I be able to see my score before the score release day if I purchase Score Preview? No, Score Preview does not allow you to see your score before score release day. This service provides an option to review your score after it is released and gives you the opportunity to make a decision to keep it or cancel it within six (6) calendar days. Is LSAT Argumentative Writing required? Yes. Your LSAT score cannot be released if you haven’t completed an LSAT Argumentative Writing sample. If you previously completed LSAT Writing or LSAT Argumentative Writing during the current reportable score period, your previous writing sample is still valid, and you do not need to complete another one. You may review the status in JD Services under LSAT/LSAT Argumentative Writing I would like to change my September 2026 LSAT to a future administration. Can I do this? LSAT registrations may be moved to a future open administration following the deadlines and fees associated with each test. The deadline for a test date change at no charge and our full refund deadline was July 28, 2026. You may still move your September 2026 LSAT registration up until Tuesday, September 8, 2026. During your registration you were asked to provide your preference; this is used for planning purposes and does not schedule your test. Please be aware that registration and scheduling are two different processes. Once scheduling opens, you will need to schedule your test appointment, and that is when you will choose your test date and time. Scheduling for the September test begins on August 25.How do I schedule my test? What do I need to complete this process? On the day scheduling opens, you will receive an email letting you know that the scheduling process has started. When your specific scheduling window opens, you will receive an SMS message informing you that you can proceed to schedule your test. You may also review How to Schedule Your LSAT Testing Time for helpful steps. What resources are available to prepare for the upcoming test? All candidates have access to their free LawHub account. Your LawHub account contains multiple PrepTests with the ability to review your answers. Additionally, drill sets focusing on specific types of Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning questions are available for free. You may also purchase a LawHub Advantage subscription for additional practice tests. Does LSAC offer any preparation materials for LSAT Argumentative Writing? Yes, you may practice LSAT Argumentative Writing directly from your LawHub account. LSAT Argumentative Writing will include a short preparatory period that test takers can use to organize their thoughts using guided prewriting analysis questions and to take notes using the digital notetaking tool provided in the testing environment.
