The United States Women’s National Team will be playing games in North Texas later this year, in their bid to repeat as Concacaf W Champions. They defeated Canada 1-0 in 2022, in Monterrey, Mexico.
Concacaf is the Confederation of North, Central America, and Caribbean Association Football.
The eight-team knockout competition will start on Black Friday, November 27.
Mansfield will host the quarterfinals and semifinals; the four semifinalists will then advance to Houston, where the final and third-place match will be held on Saturday, December 5.
Texas Health Mansfield Stadium remains under construction ahead of the FIFA Men’s World Cup 2026. Mansfield will be the base camp training site for the Czechia national team.
Shell Energy Stadium is home to both Houston Dynamo FC and the Houston Dash, located in downtown Houston.
The top four teams will qualify for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Brazil 2027, and two Play-In winners for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 Play-Off Tournament.
The top three teams will secure berths in the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics; the USWNT automatically qualifies as host.
The quarterfinal matchups and tournament bracket were determined by the FIFA Women’s Rankings. The USWNT is the number 2 overall team in the world behind Spain, the reigning World Cup champions.
The other 6 teams, in alphabetical order, are Costa Rica, El Salvador, Haiti, Jamaica, Mexico, and Panama.
Six Concacaf teams competed in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand, marking a Confederation record.

We’re grateful to the City of Mansfield and our partners at Hunt Sports and North Texas SC for their support in making events like this possible, and we look forward to kickoff later this year.”
