MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. The false flag operation in Bucha can be considered as the most cynical farce, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at the Dialogue on Fakes 4.0 international forum.

"I consider the faked footage of civilians allegedly killed in Bucha to be the most cynical farce," Lavrov noted.

On March 30, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces withdrew from an area near Kiev - including the city of Bucha - in a gesture of goodwill amidst negotiations with Ukraine in Istanbul. On March 31, the head of the local administration confirmed this on camera. Several days later, Western television outlets released footage showing - in contrast to earlier videos - what was described as bodies of allegedly killed local civilians lying on the streets. In Russia, a criminal case has been opened regarding this provocation on charges of disseminating knowingly false information about the Russian Armed Forces.
