Scarborough tightened it’s grip on the No. 1 ranking in the Varsity Maine girls soccer poll, adding two more first-place votes. The Red Storm now have more than half of the No. 1s, going from four last week to six this week.

Camden Hills gained one more No. 1 vote and moved up a place in the rankings to second, while Windham, the recipient of the final first-place vote, jumped from sixth to fourth.

Mt. Ararat made the biggest leap, moving up to fifth after not being ranked in last week’s poll.

The Varsity Maine girls soccer poll is based on games played before Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2026. The top 10 teams are voted on by the Varsity Maine staff, with first-place votes in parentheses, followed by total points.
