The US Secretary of State believes that it is an opportunity for Vladimir Putin to engage not just with the US President but with other world leaders as well

NEW YORK, September 23. /TASS/. The US administration has extended an invitation to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the G20 Summit near in Miami in December, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday.

"We've invited President Putin to the G20. We think it's an opportunity for him to engage not just with the president but with other world leaders," Rubio stated following his meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
