Starbucks and Pokemon announced a new collaboration featuring a themed coffee drink and various coffee and household goods. So far, the collaboration has only been announced for Japan. The promotion’s run will start on September 30, 2026.

The new Starbucks collaboration drink is the Pikachu Honey Cream Latte. It costs 690 yen (or about $4.34), and it is an espresso drink that, as the name indicates, contains honey as well as caramel. The drink was created by Starbucks barista Junko Nitta, the winner of the “Pokemon + Starbucks Barista Battle” campaign.

 As for the collaboration goods, they range from a variety of cups and mugs to coffee utility products for home. All the goods feature collaboration art or designs, with two pieces of art available. These are the “Coffee Connection” and “Coffee Adventure” artworks. It’s important to note that not all products on sale feature option for both designs, with some only featuring one or the other. In addition, some items feature designs inspired by Pokemon from classic first gen creatures.

Another Pokemon collaboration appeared in Japan not long ago, but this time it was with McDonald’s Japan and it featured various Happy Meal toys. That collaboration appeared on August 7, 2026 and concluded by the end of that month.

The upcoming Pokemon + Starbucks collaboration will appear in Japan from September 30, 2026, with no end date announced.
