MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. Rosatom continues to fully fulfill its state defense order, as well as expand its foreign order portfolio, Chief Executive Officer of the state corporation Alexey Likhachev said in a congratulatory message on the occasion of the Nuclear Industry Worker Day.

"By traditionally fulfilling the state defense order by 100%, we contribute to strengthening the country’s security. <…> Despite the unprecedented external pressure, our portfolio of foreign orders is expanding, with more and more countries entrusting us with the implementation of long-term energy projects," the message reads.

Rosatom plans to set another record for cargo transportation along the Northern Sea Route (NSR), reaching 40 mln tons, the chief executive added. The fleet of nuclear-powered icebreakers is also being renewed. "The nuclear-powered icebreaker Leningrad will be set afloat this year," he announced.
