MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. The fourth BRICS+ Fashion Summit has opened in Moscow, bringing together fashion industry representatives from more than 60 countries; its business program will run through September 30 at Zaryadye Concert Hall, the organizers told TASS.

"Over three days, from September 28 to 30, fashion industry representatives from more than 60 countries, including China, India, Brazil, Turkey, Iran and Vietnam, as well as other rapidly growing economies, will discuss the industry's development, new technologies, consumer behavior, investment and the role of cultural heritage in contemporary fashion," the organizers said.

One of the first day's central themes is fashion as a city's symbolic capital. Participants will discuss how local brands, fashion events and residents' style shape a city's image, attract tourists, talent and money, and influence its international standing. The discussion will feature GUM Managing Director Teimuraz Guguberidze, SOLANGEL founder and designer Irena Soprano, Hub of Africa Addis Fashion Week founder Mahlet Teklemariam, and Khulood Khoory, Director of the Design Department at Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
