PASSES ON SALE 

Today, the American Film Institute announced that THE MOSQUITO BOWL will have its World Premiere at AFI FEST 2025 presented by Canva on Thursday, October 22 at the TCL Chinese Theatre. 

After the attack on Pearl Harbor, four of America’s greatest college football stars — John McLaughry (Nicholas Galitzine), Bob Baumann (Bill Skarsgård), Tony Butkovich (Ray Nicholson) and David Schreiner (Tom Francis) — set fame aside to enlist in the Marines. Eager to serve, they are immediately pulled out of their idealistic youth and into the violent realities of World War II. Based on the book “The Mosquito Bowl: A Game of Life and Death in World War II” by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Buzz Bissinger, THE MOSQUITO BOWL is directed by Peter Berg (LONE SURVIVOR, AFI FEST 2013; PATRIOTS DAY, AFI FEST 2016). 

The full festival lineup will be unveiled on September 29. Individual tickets will be available for purchase on October 3.
