They are both veterans of the industry, having carved out successful careers in television with several high profile shows each under their belts.

And after many years mixing in the same showbiz circles, Holly Willoughby and Davina McCall came together on Tuesday evening at The Wigmore in London.

Both women are longstanding Garnier Nutrisse ambassadors and they were there on the night to celebrate the brand at the hair care event.

The TV stars, who once bumped into each other on a Maldives holiday, beamed broadly as they posed with their arms around each other.

Holly, 45, looked chic in a striped maroon and white polo shirt, which she styled with white bermuda shorts and peep toe black heels.

Her glossy blonde locks were styled in a bouncy blown out look and her pretty features were enhanced with glamorous make-up.

Meanwhile, Davina, 58, looked lovely in a butter yellow co-ord, which included a midriff-grazing top and jeans, styled with platforms. 

Their glam appearance comes after Holly left fans lost for words as she modelled a bizarre oversized jumpsuit in her latest Instagram on Monday.

The former This Morning host, who launched her new YouTube show Together last month, was sent the ARRANGE oversized jumpsuit which costs an expensive £120.

And Holly left viewers and her team shocked as she slipped into the one-piece and seemed slightly taken with the garment.

Unpacking it she exclaimed: ' Oh wow! See what this looks like. This looks like you know on Halloween when you ge t those inflatable suits.'

She joked: 'Great for a skydive. And if your parachute doesn't open, you're still covered.'

Modelling the jumpsuit she continued: 'You ready for this? There's something quite cool about it. Is there? Or might we have just gone mad in the heat?

'Do you know what this is going to be? Men are going to hate it. I know. My husband will go, "What are you wearing? They won't get this.

'Every woman will say you look amazing, and every man will just go, "What the hell is that?'

As one member of her team shook her head she asked: 'You don't like?' as they replied: 'Oh no. It's just not you and that's ok.'

'Is it too much?' asked Holly, 'It's a bit mad. I'm scared if I run too fast, I'll just get pulled back in like a parachute.

'I do quite like it. It's £120. Well, she's spenny. So you got to know you want it. Well, anyway, it's quite fun.'

Yet fans didn't seem so sure as they took to the comments joking she looked like a tent or MC Hammer.

They wrote: 'It’s hammer time'; 'Ghost buster vibes'; 'Absolutely looks like a tent'; 'Absolutely not!';

'If anyone can look good in it you can but don’t go outside on a windy day!'; 'Omg hell no…that’s hideous sorry!';

However some people were a fan as they added: 'So cool! But would LOOOOOVE it in a colour...';

Holly's pal Leigh Francis, also known as Keith Lemon, also took to the comments as he joked: 'I'd wear it!'
