Vanessa Feltz has confirmed she is launching a new show on YouTube just like Holly Willoughby after her Channel 5 daytime show was axed. 

It was revealed last month that bosses 'blindsided' the presenter, 64, when they made the decision to axe her chat show after just one year on air.

A determined Vanessa told viewers in her final episode last week that she 'is not going to hide under a rock'. 

And less than a week later, the star announced her new social media show which will be filmed at her home with her friends.  

She wrote: 'Welcome to ‘At Home with Vanessa’ a brand spanking new show coming to YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and the universe in mid-August. 

'Filmed at Feltz Towers - my real house, with my real chums, bottomless bagels and cocktails on tap, I’m hoping you’ll pop over to Vanessa Feltz on YouTube, subscribe for free, get on board and thoroughly enjoy the ride'.

Her TV friends including Ruth Langsford and Charlotte Hawkins quickly took to the comments to show their support to Vanessa and even Holly commented: 'Yay'. 

The news comes days after the golden girl of daytime TV Holly dropped her new YouTube show, Together trailer, ahead of the launch on July 28.

Holly ditched her wholesome image and showed off her smutty side in a trailer that was packed with innuendos and swearwords.

Declaring 'Holly's back', the 40-second snip teased plenty of fun with Holly trying her hand at making sausages, styling tracksuits with Joanne McNally and playfully sharing her love for spaghetti hoops with Stanley Tucci. 

The twice-weekly broadcast will be under five sections: Talk Together, Cook Together, Look Good Together, Better Together and Hang Out Together. 

And it looks like Cook Together doesn't get off to a flying start as sausage making goes disastrously wrong, prompting Holly to swear before telling viewers: 'I feel like I'm on OnlyFans'. 

The new project, which she is self-funding, will involve both producing and presenting her own show, as well as celebrity interviews. Read the full story here. 

During a style segment with Joanne, the comedian said: 'I'm so proud of you' as Holly posed in a hot pink velour tracksuit. 

In another part, Joanne said: 'She'll take her clothes off in front of anyone!' with the presenter cheekily adding: 'That's me'. 

Reacting to a sneak peek, fans wrote: 'Can't wait. I've missed you' and 'So looking forward to watching x'. 

Holly is working with a team at her husband Dan Baldwin's television production company Hungry Bear, which is behind shows such as Gladiators and Michael McIntyre's Big Show, both screened on BBC One.

When Holly left This Morning after learning of an extraordinary plot to kidnap, rape and murder her, she found herself with much more time on her hands.

For 14 years, she'd been up at the crack of dawn to sit on the sofa and present the show next to her former co-star and friend, Phillip Schofield. Holly had been ITV's busiest star, and bosses at the network wanted her on screen as much as possible.

But Holly had been left badly shaken by the kidnap threat, for which former security guard Gavin Plumb was handed a life sentence in 2024.

Her return to TV was gradual, first hosting two episodes of You Bet for ITV and the Netflix reality show Celebrity Bear Hunt in February 2025.

Since then, she has been a stay-at-home mum to Harry, 17, Belle and 11-year-old Chester, which she 'loved'. Now, however, she is ready to get back out into the limelight.
