The search is on for the plumbing and heating industry’s standout professionals as nominations open for the 2026 APHC Quality Plumber Week Awards.

APHC are calling on the industry to shine a spotlight on the people who go above and beyond every day, whether that’s delivering exceptional workmanship, supporting their local community, investing in their skills or embracing new technology.

From 24 August to 20 September, plumbers and heating engineers are invited to nominate themselves, their colleagues or someone they believe deserves recognition for a Quality Plumber Week Award.

APHC is also encouraging installers to spread the word among their customers and ask homeowners and satisfied clients to put them forward. After all, there’s no better endorsement than hearing directly from the people who have experienced their work.

Seven awards celebrating the very best in the industry

The 2026 Quality Plumber Week Awards feature seven categories, each sponsored by a leading industry name, with prizes worth a minimum of £250.

1. Sustainable Installer of the Year – Sponsored by Resideo
   The winner will receive a Honeywell Home evohome multi-zoning thermostat and a pack of 4 wireless radiator controllers.
2. Caring for the Community – Sponsored by BPEC
   The winner will receive a £250 Amazon Voucher.
3. Commitment to Training – Sponsored by Altecnic
   The winner will receive a half-day training session at Altecnic Headquarters in Stafford + a £50 Amazon voucher.
4. APHC Installer of the Year – Sponsored by Instantor
   The winner will receive an Instantor IT2030 next generation press tool and jaws.
5. Embracing Technology – Sponsored by Hansgrohe
   The winner will receive a Hansgrohe Activera Select S Shower system.
6. New Business Start-up of the Year – Sponsored by Premierline Insurance Broker
   The winner will receive a £250 B&Q voucher.

All nominees will be contacted whilst the nomination period is open and the winners of the awards will be announced during Quality Plumber Week, taking place from 05-11 October 2026.
