The Migration Point-in-Time Service has been updated to include the Administrative Review Tribunal and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2026 (Cth) (Act No 3 of 2026).

This Act amends the Administrative Review Tribunal Act 2024 (Cth) (the ART Act) and the Migration Act 1958 (Cth) to:

• expand the circumstances in which the Administrative Review Tribunal (the Tribunal) may make a decision without holding an oral hearing; and
• require the Tribunal to make decisions in relation to certain kinds of applications without holding an oral hearing.

The Tribunal was established under the ART Act which commenced in October 2024, and replaced the former Administrative Appeals Tribunal as Australia's federal administrative review body.

These amendments have been updated in the Point-in-Time Migration Service current to 13 February 2026. (NB: Subscription required).
