The genome sequence of the Nut Bud Moth, Epinotia tenerana (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) [version 1; peer review: awaiting peer review]

We present a genome assembly from an individual female Epinotia tenerana (Nut Bud Moth; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Tortricidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 656.66 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.18%) is scaffolded into 28 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled, with a length of 15.41 kilobases. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 13,587 protein-coding genes. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
