TEHRAN, September 30. /TASS/. The US has given a response to Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi through intermediaries on the seven conditions for opening the Strait of Hormuz and resuming dialogue, which Tehran had previously proposed, government spokeswoman Fatemeh Mohajerani stated.

"At today's government meeting, we heard the foreign minister's report on his trip to New York and the meetings he held there. This included communicating Iran's conditions for opening the Strait of Hormuz to the US through intermediaries. In addition, the esteemed foreign minister reported receiving a US proposal," she wrote in a post on her X page.

On September 23, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei stated that, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Tehran communicated its positions and conditions for resuming dialogue to the UAE through Qatar.
