MINSK, September 30. /TASS/. United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec) showcased models of the Il-114-300, SJ-100, MC-21-310, and Tu-214 passenger aircraft at the Innoprom. Belarus international industrial exhibition in Minsk, a TASS correspondent reported.

The corporation’s stand features, in particular, a model of the Il-114-300 regional turboprop aircraft, as well as a model of the SJ-100 short-haul airliner. Models of the MC-21-310 medium-haul aircraft and the Tu-214, which belongs to the same class, are also on display.

The MC-21 is a Russian medium-haul passenger aircraft with a capacity of up to 211 passengers that will replace the Tu-154 and Tu-204 family on the Russian market. It will also be able to serve as an alternative to foreign-made aircraft. The aircraft is expected to complete all certification procedures by mid-2027, Federal Air Transport Agency head Dmitry Yadrov said earlier.

The SJ-100 is a short-haul narrow-body aircraft. As part of import substitution efforts, it has been equipped with Russian-made PD-8 engines and domestic systems. Certification of the SJ-100 is expected in the first quarter of 2027, Yadrov said earlier.

The Tu-214 is a Russian twin-engine medium-haul passenger aircraft designed for flights of up to 4,500 kilometers.
