Front-month natural gas futures struggled for meaningful momentum this week amid forecasts for increasingly mild weather. Contracts spanning December through February, the heart of winter, followed a similar pattern, though there were hints of a bullish hue as analysts cautioned that lighter production could leave the market vulnerable to weather surprises.
