Manulife Philippines has launched Wealth Guarantee Plus, a limited-time life insurance plan that pays customers cash each year for seven years and returns their full premium at the end of the term.

“Filipino customers work hard to build their wealth, and they want solutions that offer both certainty and confidence,” said Rahul Hora, president and CEO, Manulife Philippines. “Wealth Guarantee Plus helps meet that need by providing guaranteed annual cash payouts over seven years, full premium return at maturity, and life insurance protection throughout the plan’s term.”

Customers make one payment to buy the plan. The minimum single premium is ₱300,000, and annual cash payouts can reach 5% of the amount paid. The plan also provides life insurance coverage throughout the seven-year period.

For example, a customer who pays ₱3 million would receive ₱150,000 each year for seven years, or ₱1.05 million in total cash payouts. The customer would then get the ₱3 million premium back at the end of the seventh year. Life insurance coverage would equal 125% of the single premium.

For customers planning education or retirement expenses, the fixed payouts provide a set amount to work into a budget. The returns are guaranteed under the policy and do not depend on market performance. Manulife said the new plan offers higher payouts over a longer period than earlier versions of Wealth Guarantee.

Manulife’s Asia Care Survey 2026 found that 88% of Filipinos view their own independence and financial freedom as the inheritance they want to leave their families. Nine in 10 said they hope to remain self-sufficient for as long as possible.
