The City of Flint is offering a free workshop for potential new vendors interested in doing business with city government. The two-hour workshop will be held Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the City Hall Dome. Parking is available behind City Hall, off Seventh Street. Light refreshments will be provided.

The workshop is open to the public and welcomes anyone interested in becoming a government vendor. Contractors, consultants, suppliers, skilled tradespeople and other professional service providers will learn what they need to do to be considered for the various jobs and services the City seeks outside help to fulfill.

The workshop is being offered to expand the City’s list of available municipal vendors and to provide the public and business community with a better understanding of the vendor selection process.
