Whitney Rose is embarking on a new healing journey.
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star has officially filed for divorce from husband Justin Rose after nearly 17 years of marriage, according to documents obtained by NBC News.
The filing is dated Oct. 6 and was submitted in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The 40-year-old also filed a parenting plan for the couple’s two children – 16-year-old daughter Bobbie and 13-year-old son Brooks – and requested for the case to be sealed.
A rep for Rose did not immediately respond to NBC’s request for comment.
The divorce filing comes as the couple’s relationship struggles play out on Season 7 of “RHOSLC,” which is currently airing on Bravo.
She revealed last month the pair separated in May 2026 and were rotating between a home and apartment so their children’s routines remained stable.
Whitney Rose said she and Justin Rose were co-parenting and prioritizing a peaceful environment for their children, while taking their marriage “day by day.”
The two married in November 2009. The couple renewed their vows on their 10th wedding anniversary, which aired on the first episode of “RHSLC” Season 1.
Throughout their time of the show, the couple was open about their ups and downs, including Justin’s job loss on Season 3 and losing all their money in a failed business venture with her Wild Rose Beauty brand in Season 6.
In a recent episode of the show, Whitney revealed in a confessional that “disagreeing and arguing about the business snowballed into arguing about everything.”
“If I answer it wrong, he’s mad at me. If he insinuates something, I’m mad at him. And there’s no resolution. So, as scary as it is, space away from Justin is what I need,” she added.

On this week’s episode of Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” Whitney Rose breaks down all the drama ensuing on this season of “The Real Housewives of Salty Lake City” with host Lauren Herbert.
