Speaking to an audience that included UN delegates, global leaders, and families of hostages, the renowned psychologist and television host bypassed diplomatic pleasantries. Instead, he delivered a searing analysis of the psychological warfare of terrorism and the moral failures of modern cultural institutions.

Dr. Phil framed the aftermath of October 7 not as past history, but as an active, unhealed wound. He observed that for the victims and the Jewish community worldwide, there is “no post-trauma because the trauma is ongoing.”

Drawing stark, direct parallels to the Holocaust, he explained that the tactical goal of modern terror is not merely physical destruction, but global psychological paralysis. By highlighting atrocities against the most vulnerable, specifically citing the ongoing captivity of young children like Kfir and Ariel Bibas, terrorists aim to traumatize and demoralize the broader global population.

A major focal point of the address was Dr. Phil’s sharp criticism of Western academic culture. He openly condemned what he termed “useful idiots” on college campuses who have been “brainwashed” by activists to favor Hamas and Iranian proxies.

“Excusing or celebrating mass murder, rape, and kidnapping is not human rights activism,” Dr. Phil stated, emphasizing that a dangerous cultural inversion has taken place where terrorists are framed as freedom fighters. He pointed to recent U.S. FBI statistics showing a historic spike in hate crimes to warn that domestic antisemitism is reaching an existential boiling point.

Using a well-known metaphor of a good wolf and an evil wolf fighting within the human spirit, Dr. Phil illustrated the current global ethical struggle. He argued that the world is facing a clear-cut conflict between basic human decency and absolute evil, leaving no room for moral equivalence or political nuance.

Reflecting on his personal visits to Israel, where he met with government leaders, Holocaust survivors, and the families of those still held in Gaza, Dr. Phil praised the historical resilience of the Israeli people since 1948. He concluded his address by asserting that during periods of deep existential crisis, faith must serve as the ultimate foundation and moral compass to guide humanity back toward truth and justice.
