FEX 2610 released today as the newest monthly release of this open-source emulator for running x86_64 games/apps on AArch64 for ARM64 Linux systems, including most notably by Valve's Steam Frame headset.

FEX 2610 brings more JIT improvements, including handling for AVX-VNNI. The AVX Vector Neural Network Instructions are beginning to be used by some game libraries and thus important for FEX-Emu to support. The FEX JIT also seen some SSE4.2 optimizations, 3DNow! instruction handling has been restored, a new AVX gather optimization, and software fall-backs for RDRAND and RDSEED instructions.

FEX 2610 also has disk cache improvements to have a limit on the cache size rather than growing to an unlimited amount, flushing of disk caches on FEX updates, and other enhancements.

FEX 2610 also has Vulkan thunk fixes that can help some games in running on the NVIDIA DGX Spark.
