bruisedmooons:Goodbye September. Here is my letter to you.Your golden days have been blessed and the shine of your sun has brought joy. Your days and nights have been colder yet you’ve been kind to the last of the wild flowers, letting them wilt in peace with rays of light to remind them of their prime as they gently near their demise.O’ September, your rain has been not as plentiful as I’ve wanted yet it’s kissed my skin in the middle of towering trees, nourishing the moss I so love and giving the forest it’s green back when summer’s heat robbed it. Your rain has summoned the fungal fruit of mycelium bringing sustenance and joy. Many a moment I’ve spent by the pond watching the ripples of the raindrops, and listening to their quiet dance across water often dark, yet sometimes painted with the colours of the sunrise. Your ruska, the glorious autumnal colours, has been as beautiful as the sunrises nature’s Creator has blessed me with. I’ve enjoyed collecting pieces of this year, the very essence of the verdant seasons I carry with me through winter. I could go on and on but there’s still October to live through and I cannot wait as it is my favourite month, and not just because I was born on a stormy October morning.Goodbye September. I’ll see you again.
Goodbye September. Here is my letter to you.
Your golden days have been blessed and the shine of your sun has brought joy. Your days and nights have been colder yet you’ve been kind to the last of the wild flowers, letting them wilt in peace with rays of light to remind them of their prime as they gently near their demise.
O’ September, your rain has been not as plentiful as I’ve wanted yet it’s kissed my skin in the middle of towering trees, nourishing the moss I so love and giving the forest it’s green back when summer’s heat robbed it.
I could go on and on but there’s still October to live through and I cannot wait as it is my favourite month, and not just because I was born on a stormy October morning.
Goodbye September. I’ll see you again.
