NEW YORK, October 8. /TASS/. A SpaceX spacecraft carrying the Crew-12 mission team, including Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyayev, has returned to Earth from the International Space Station (ISS). The landing was broadcast live on the website of the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).

The spacecraft splashed down off the coast of California at 08:34 local time. The journey from the orbital station to Earth took the crew approximately 27 hours.

The Crew-12 team had been aboard the ISS since mid-February. Fedyayev’s fellow crew members were NASA astronauts Jessica Meir and Jack Hathaway, as well as European Space Agency astronaut Sophie Adenot.

On October 4, Meir handed over command of the orbital station to Roscosmos cosmonaut Pyotr Dubrov.
