TURKMENBASHI /Turkmenistan/, October 8. /TASS/. Vladimir Zelensky’s threats of a 40-day operation against Russia are now backfiring on Ukraine itself, Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"Look, there were the 40 days that Zelensky announced. These 40 days are now coming back to haunt the Kiev regime, to haunt the residents of Kiev, to haunt residents of other cities, to haunt the industrial sector, to haunt Ukraine’s entire economy," Peskov told reporters, commenting on Zelensky’s threats against Russia.
