Coroner identifies woman found dead near Pawleys Island Pier

PAWLEYS ISLAND, S.C. (WBTW) -- The Georgetown County Coroner's Office has identified a 33-year-old woman found dead in the surf near Pawleys Island Pier on Wednesday. Coroner Chase Ridgeway described the circumstances surrounding the death of Conway woman Meggan Jordan as "suspicious." An autopsy was completed Thursday at the Medical University of South Carolina.
