DONETSK, October 10. /TASS/. Ukrainian servicemen shoot civilians while retreating and use them as human shields, Head of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) Denis Pushilin told TASS.

"We remember cases when the enemy shot people while retreating or used them as human shields," Pushilin said.

On October 7, the DPR Defense Headquarters called on residents of cities under the control of the Ukrainian armed forces to evacuate to the republic, pledging to help them find housing. It recommended that they look for "any way to move to Donetsk," explaining that "things will only get worse from here.".
