Make DF taskbar show over maximized windows

So I have the taskbars set to auto-hide, and on the default windows taskbar, when I mouseover the bottom of the screen with a maximized window, the taskbar will still appear.
When I try the same with the multimonitor taskbar, it won't show.
How do I get it to behave the same way?
