AllThingsOpen is the largest open-source, open-tech, and open-web conference in the U.S. East Coast. Hosted annually in Raleigh in the heart of the triangle, the event draws thousands of global developers, engineers, enterprise leaders, and open-source advocates. The conference features technical tracks covering AI, cloud infrastructure, security, DevOps, and database innovation.

MariaDB will be right in the center of the action on the vibrant expo floor and attendees can visit Booth 59 to explore the latest breakthroughs in database management, check out live demos, and chat directly with experts about scaling open-source database workflows securely and efficiently. Beyond the exhibition floor, MariaDB’s Head of Developer Relations Michael Aglietti, will be delivering a presentation titled “Confidently Wrong – Handing a Coding Agent an API Tier Anyway.” This session will tackle the practical realities, architectural guardrails, and security implications of integrating AI-driven coding agents directly into production API layers.
