WASHINGTON D.C (VINnews) — A London-based coalition orchestrated a wave of anti-Israel protests in hundreds of cities worldwide, supplying participating groups with pre-written slogans, disruption tactics and media strategies before demonstrators took to the streets, according to a Fox News Digital investigation.​

The Global Alliance for Palestine, launched in London in July 2025, directed roughly 179 organizations to stage synchronized actions as part of a “global day of action.” Campaign documents instructed groups to “shut down city squares,” “encircle government buildings” and “blockade complicit corporate hubs” in an effort to “turn public outrage into collective leverage.” Fox News Digital identified 322 planned events across the mobilization period.​

The coalition’s international steering committee includes former British Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn as chair, former Greek finance minister Yanis Varoufakis, former Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams, Palestinian political figure Mustafa Barghouti and other activists and politicians from Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. The group describes itself as a “truly international popular front for Palestinian liberation.”​

Internal materials instructed organizers to use language that is “disciplined, credible, urgent and impossible to ignore” while presenting contested accusations of “genocide” as established fact. Prescribed slogans included “Israel Kills. The Media Justifies” and references to “1,100 Days of Israeli Genocide.” A five-page mobilization brief called for “workplace, campus and creative interruptions,” including silent walkouts, banner drops, nighttime projections, street theater and “die-ins” designed to interrupt normal normal routines.​

Organizers also directed groups to allocate funds for participants, arrange transportation and provide legal and logistical support. Media instructions called for local press releases, ready-made social-media toolkits, branded graphics and briefing sessions to keep messaging aligned. In one example cited by the investigation, protesters in Malaysia displayed pre-made signs featuring a watermelon and barbed wire with the alliance’s branding.​

The coalition’s stated demands include total arms embargoes, comprehensive sanctions and an end to “the occupation.” Documents do not specify whether the term refers to Gaza, the West Bank or the entirety of Israel, language that has previously appeared alongside “from the river to the sea” formulations. The campaign’s public relations officer did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.​

The investigation noted that the protests, while appearing decentralized in many cities, followed a single coordinated playbook distributed in advance. Claims of genocide made by organizers have been rejected by groups of retired U.S. military leaders and legal experts, who have described them as distortions of the laws of war.
