Paramount’s Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie was No. 1 on the DEG: The Digital Entertainment Group’s top 10 digital sales and rentals chart provided by GfK Entertainment for the week ended Oct. 4.

In the third animated “Paw Patrol” theatrical movie, which became available for premium digital rental and sale Sept. 29, the pups crash land on a mysterious dinosaur island and meet a new friend, Rex, a dino-expert pup who knows the island like the back of his paw. But when Mayor Humdinger’s greedy schemes trigger a massive volcano eruption, the pups must team up with their dino pals to save the island.

Dropping from the top spot to No. 2 was Warner’s The End of Oak Street. The sci-fi thriller follows a family’s attempts to survive after their neighborhood is transported from 1982 to the age of the dinosaurs. The cast includes Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella and Christian Convery.

Down a slot to No. 3 was Universal’s Disclosure Day. Directed by Steven Spielberg from a screenplay by David Koepp, the film stars Emily Blunt as a television meteorologist whose newfound psychic abilities brings her into contact with a cybersecurity analyst (Josh O’Connor) as they embark on a mission to disclose the existence of alien life against the efforts of a government contractor (Colin Firth) who wants to keep it a secret.

Landing at No. 4 was Universal’s The Uprising, available for premium digital rental and sale starting Sept. 29. In the film, Andrew Garfield stars as the legendary leader of a ferocious rebellion against the tyranny of King Richard II. As war burns across England, he forms an army of the people to face the king’s might.

Staying No. 5 was Focus Features’ horror hit Obsession from Universal. In the surprise box office hit, written and directed by YouTube creator Curry Barker, after breaking the mysterious “One Wish Willow” to win his crush’s heart, a hopeless romantic finds himself getting exactly what he asked for but soon discovers that some desires come at a dark, sinister price.

Down two spots to No. 6 was the A24 drama The Invite. The movie stars Seth Rogen, Olivia Wilde, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton as two couples together at a dinner party. The night spirals into unexpected places as the couples either reignite the spark or light the match that burns it all down. The film was directed by Wilde and written by Will McCormack and Rashida Jones.

Slipping a slot to No. 7 was Universal’s Minions & Monsters. The third “Minions” film and seventh installment in the “Despicable Me” finds the joyful Minions, who have survived throughout history serving its biggest villains, living as movie stars in Hollywood’s silent era. When the introduction of sound to films threatens their careers due to their incomprehensible language, they inadvertently unleash monsters onto the world trying to make their own movie.

Dropping a spot to No. 8 was Warner’s 1998 film Practical Magic, getting a boost from the Sept. 11 theatrical release of its sequel. The film starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman follows two sisters from a family of witches in a small, contemporary New England town, where falling in love is the trickiest spell of all. They struggle to use their gift for magically guiding fate to overcome their family curse: The men they fall in love with are doomed to an untimely death.
