Fusion MCP server returns malformed HTTP chunked response to Claude Desktop (initialize fails)

Environment- Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (build 26200.9457)- Claude Desktop (Microsoft Store version)- Autodesk Fusion 2705.1.30 x86_64 - Personal plan - updated on 15/10/2026- Fusion MCP server enabled (Preferences > General > API), port 27182- Node.js 24.13.1ProblemThe "Autodesk Fusion" extension in Claude Desktop always fails ("Server disconnected").Fusion receives the "initialize" request and produces a valid JSON-RPC result, but theHTTP response is rejected by the client because the chunked transfer encoding is malformed:HTTPParserError: Response does not match the HTTP/1.1 protocol(Invalid character in chunk size)The body received before the error is valid:{"id":0,"jsonrpc":"2.0","result":{"capabilities":{"resources":{"listChanged":false,"subscribe":false},"tools":{"listChanged":false}},"protocolVersion":"2025-11-25","serverInfo":{"name":"MCP Server Adapter","version":"1.0.0"}}}What I tested1. Official Claude extension (built-in Node and system Node): same error.2. Manual config with mcp-remote@latest (stdio -> http://127.0.0.1:27182/mcp😞 same error.3. MCP Inspector 2.11.0 connecting to the same URL (Streamable HTTP, and stdio viamcp-remote@latest): connects successfully, tools/list OK.4. With no other MCP client connected (ChatGPT and Inspector closed): same error.So the server works with a simple initialize request, but the response to Claude Desktop'sinitialize request is sent with an invalid chunk size.
