Elvis Presley’s first global hit may have been Heartbreak Hotel, but the singer was a homeowner several times over.

After his early years in a two-room house his dad built in Tupelo, Miss., Presley purchased properties in Tennessee and California (in addition to leasing several other places over the years).

Robb Report offered a rundown of his real estate portfolio.

1. Audubon Drive — Memphis, Tenn

Presley and his parents bought this four-bedroom ranch house in March 1956. Then age 21, he used $29,500 he’d earned from the success of Heartbreak Hotel. In the 13 or so months that he lived there, Presley’s profile skyrocketed. To keep fans at bay, he added a fence for privacy.

2. Graceland — Memphis, Tenn

It’s the home most associated with Presley. He bought Graceland in March 1957 for $102,500, adding the driveway gates, pink flagstone walls, and a pool, among other features. The Colonial Revival-style home, which sits on 13.8 acres, was his primary residence until he died in 1977.

3. Hillcrest Road — Beverly Hills, Calif.

The singer and his wife, Priscilla, bought this four-bedroom, five-bathroom estate in November 1967. They paid $400,000 and welcomed their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, while living there. The 5,367-square-foot home sits on 1.17 acres and has city and mountain views.

4. Monovale Drive — Beverly Hills, Calif.

Elvis and Priscilla acquired the New England-style estate in December 1970 for $335,000. Built in the 1930s, the 7,000-square-foot main house sat on 1.4 acres and boasted a guest house and tennis court. Priscilla and Lisa Marie lived there after the couple separated in 1972.

5. West Chino Canyon Road — Palm Springs, Calif.

Elvis shelled out $105,000 for this four-bedroom property in April 1970. It was built in 1946 and stretched 1.75 acres along a hillside ridge. While there, Elvis added a sauna, a steam room, a gazebo above the Jacuzzi for privacy, and sound-dampening acoustic panelling. He also expanded the house to 5,040 square feet.
