TOKYO, October 16. /TASS/. The delay with arrival of a ship carrying 18 mln liters of fuel for the island became one of the causes of the fuel crisis in Bali, Governor of the Indonesian province Wayan Koster said.

"The ship was scheduled to dock on Sunday morning (October 11), but did not arrive until around 10 p.m. local time. This delay disrupted the scheduled fuel distribution to the depot," Koster said, cited by Antara news agency. "Distribution could not be restored immediately due to limited tanker trucks and available personnel. Consequently, fuel deliveries to gas stations were being carried out in stages," the news agency noted.

Fuel disruptions affected the public life but the tourism is safe thus far, the governor noted. ""We have not yet calculated the impact, but it is certainly affecting activities," Koster added.
