When he returned to the Senate in September after a three-month, health-related absence, his campaign committee held nearly $7.4 million, the outlet said.

McConnell, who announced in February 2025 that he would not seek an eighth term, has not given any of it to a Republican Party committee or candidate campaign, the Sun reported.
