Members were spotlighted at AIHA Connect 2026, and the association said their work to protect workers goes on amid changing exposures, rising heat stress and more wildfires.
AIHA members trained to spot hazards that workers and their communities can't see will be featured in more stories through the association's Heroes series.
Several AIHA Heroes debuted during AIHA Connect 2026. New stories will appear on AIHA.org and the association's social media channels over the coming months.
AIHA said its members, who have worked to protect worker health and safety since 1939, are continuing that work as workplace exposures change and heat stress and wildfires become more common.
