TikTok star Bryce Hall was arrested last month on allegations that he pushed his ex-girlfriend during a dispute over a Roomba vacuum, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The 27-year-old social media personality was in court Tuesday afternoon. He faces one count of felony coercion constituting domestic violence and a misdemeanor count of domestic battery.

Hall has more than 22.8 million followers on TikTok and rose to prominence as part of the Sway House, a group of content creators who lived together in Los Angeles, collaborating on viral short-form dance, prank and party videos.

Justice of the Peace Nancy Bernstein ordered Hall, who was released on his own recognizance shortly after his September arrest, not to contact the victim, according to court records.

Police said Hall’s ex-girlfriend Marie Palafox called 911 on July 27, reporting that she had gone to the Las Vegas home she and Hall had shared to retrieve items she had left there. According to Hall’s arrest report, Palafox told police she had retrieved most of her items before going back inside for a Roomba robot vacuum.

Hall stood in front of Palafox, blocking her from taking the device, according to the arrest report. The two began arguing, and Hall grabbed her and walked her to the front door, witnesses said in the report.

“Once at the front door, Hall walked out the door and ‘threw her’ on the landscaping rocks, causing small scratches on her body,” police said. “Palafox then left the residence and called to request an officer response.”

The report indicated that the woman had also secretly recorded audio from the fight. According to the report, the audio captured the woman telling Hall to “go ahead and slap her,” to which Hall responded, “I’m not going to hit you. I am going to grab you.”

Police said they later tried to talk to Hall at his home and by phone in August, but he did not respond.

Defense attorney Frank Coumou said the alleged victim was trespassing at Hall’s home and refused to leave.

“This is the basis of the alleged domestic violence,” Coumou said. “My client is eager to defend himself in court.”

Hall is due in court again on Dec. 1.
