No surprise here. Variety reports that Prime Video will renew “Neagley” for Season 2 just two weeks after its first season premiered on the streamer. The “Reacher” spinoff put up impressive viewership numbers over the past thirteen days, with 40 million total viewers. That ranks the show as the fourth most-viewed original series debut in the streamer’s history, with 52% of that viewership coming from international markets. Not bad at all.

Prime Video’s renewal of “Neagley” comes on the heels of “Reacher” also being renewed for a sixth season. Season 5 of the hit show is now in production, with Jay Baruchel and Kevin Durand in key roles. “Reacher” S5 won’t wrap shooting until December, so expect it to premiere in late 2027 at the earliest.

But back to “Neagley.” Maria Sten will no doubt return to reprise her role as the titular PI, as well as Alan Ritchson as Jack Reacher, but we’ll see if other Season 1 cast like Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman also return. Nock Santora and Nicholas Wootton serve as co-showrunners, writers, and executive producers on the series. “Reacher” creator Lee Child is also on board as an exec producer, along with Don Granger, Sam Hill, Adam Higgs, and Lisa Kussner. “Neagley” is a Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios co-production, with Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandex overseeing the series for Paramount.
