The people behind a pair of gourmet burger spots will be opening a quick-service place in the heart of Boston.
According to a press release, Smashed by BRED is planning to open at Faneuil Hall Marketplace in November, with the upcoming eatery having 400 square feet of space and offering crispy-edged smash burgers, chicken, fries and dirty sodas.
This will be a departure for BRED Hospitality, as their BRED Gourmet locations in Dorchester’s Lower Mills and Cambridge’s Kendall Square offer thicker, smoked burgers, while the Kendall Square outlet is a full-service restaurant, bar and lounge and the original in Lower Mills is a counter-service dining spot with some seating.
