There existed a screamo band called Base2 that broke up approximately 20 years ago. Can one find info about it on the open web, and possibly even pointers to how one could listen to their work without resorting to subscription music streaming services? The other night I met a guy who used to be in a screamo band called Base2, like 20 years ago. He said there's pretty much nothing about it on the web, and that if I don't use streaming services like Spotify or Amazon Music then there's pretty much no way to find/listen to that music - he allowed as to how maybe Amazon carries a CD or 2. He seemed really confident about this. Is he right? I tried searching a bit and I think all I find is this MySpace page - I don't have a login so I can't listen to the music there. Am also open to possibilities like interlibrary loan, rare CD shops, etc.
Honestly I don't even know how interested in listening to this particular band I am; I was when he and I started chatting, then got a bit irritated that he was so confident that there is no way someone who only uses the open web could find them (but hey, maybe he tries out those searches sometimes and turns nothing up), and then got further irritated when he told me that by not using services like Spotify I am "missing out on like 90% of music ever made."
