Kristen Fischer posted the clip on Instagram, offering a glimpse of how she buys everyday essentials from a small grocery shop just a short walk from her home. Her video has drawn attention to India's neighbourhood shops and the convenience of having essential groceries available close by. In the Instagram video, Fischer walks to a nearby grocery store that she says is less than a minute away from her home. She speaks to the shopkeeper in Hindi and asks for two litres of full-cream milk and half a kilogram of curd.

After receiving the items and paying in cash, she heads back home. The brief visit highlights how she relies on the local shop for everyday necessities without having to travel far or spend much time shopping.
