Beaming expectant mother Anne Hathaway made a glamorous appearance in New York City on Wednesday as she stepped out for a press day.

The 43-year-old actress has been busy promoting her latest film, Verity, and was spotted en route to film the Drew Barrymore Show.

For the occasion, she cloaked her baby bump in a sheer black off-the-shoulder top that teased her tummy.

The look boasted curtain-like draping and was teamed with matching loose-fitting trousers.

Hathaway added a pair of open-toe heels and flaunted a pristine wine-colored pedicure that matched her manicure.

She is expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman, 45.

The Princess Diaries sensation wore her signature lustrous brunette locks in a flowing blowout.

She added sparkling diamond earrings and glossy onyx sunglasses, and she completed her look with a swipe of rouge lipstick.

It comes after Hathaway explained why she wasn't able to plug Verity on the popular YouTube series Hot Ones, despite her fictional character in the movie appearing on the show.

While visiting the Talk of the Townsends podcast, she said her doctor advised her to skip the opportunity amid her third pregnancy.

The unconventional interview format sees guests consume progressively spicier chicken wings as they answer questions from host Sean Evans.

The actress, who shares sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, six, with Shulman, said that while playing her character in the film, she ate the 'first three wings for real' before she 'switched to dummy wings.'

Hathaway said she thought she 'was gonna be able to do the Hot Ones challenge to do press for this film because it just made sense,' until she received the aforementioned medical advice.

'I got pregnant, and my doctor said I couldn't do it because I might go into early labor,' she shared.

Verity, due in theaters October 2, stars Hathaway alongside Dakota Johnson and Josh Hartnett.

The actresses shared an intense kiss in a trailer for the upcoming psychosexual thriller, released by Amazon MGM Studios in April.

The Colleen Hoover novel Verity was adapted for the screen by Nick Antosca and directed by Michael Showalter.

It follows Lowen Ashleigh, a down-on-her-luck writer who gets an unexpected lifeline with a dream offer.

Verity Crawford (Hathaway) is a successful thriller writer, but after a mysterious accident leaves her debilitated, her husband Jeremy (Hartnett) enlists Lowen to ghostwrite her final books.

Once Lowen begins work at the couple's opulent estate, she discovers an unfinished manuscript that threatens to reveal dark secrets about Verity and her husband's pasts.

The young writer is forced to continue her work for Jeremy while trying to determine if the writings are merely fiction, or a disturbing warning from a dangerous woman.

Hathaway announced her pregnancy over the summer, giving fans a glimpse at her growing belly in an Instagram reel and attaching the Barbara Lewis song Baby, I'm Yours.

Remarking on becoming pregnant in her 40s, she told Access Hollywood: 'There's always hope until there's not, but when you get to a certain age, that hope looks like one percent to two percent.

'So we just decided to see where life took us, with a very, very healthy, realistic expectation, which was very low.'
