Sim Desai, founder and CEO of Clarity, the private markets platform that used to be called Hiive, posted on X that his company paid $3.5 million for Clarity.com. He even asked his followers whether that was smart money or a waste of it.

This is his own account of his own deal, so I'm treating the figure as solid rather than a rumour doing the rounds. Ron Jackson wrote it up at NamePros, pointing back to the same LinkedIn post, so this is one deal being told a second time, not two separate sales.
My take: when a company rebrands from Hiive to Clarity, the exact-match .com stops users landing on the wrong site mid-search. $3.5 million is a lot to pay for that peace of mind, but for a funded platform it's a defensible line item, not a stunt.
.si keeps finding buyersDomainCX said OpenRouter.si sold for $50,000 on Atom.com, and added that Spaceship told them a separate private .si name went for $84,000. Both figures come from one account passing on what it was told, with no sign the marketplaces have confirmed it themselves, so I'd hold those numbers loosely for now.
NameBio's own report for the day carries more weight, since it's tracked sales rather than a tip. It put Proxy.si at $12,480, Inspect.si at $8,289, Receptionist.si at $6,189 and Crest.si at $4,000, mostly through Atom.com. Three .ai names also had a strong day in the same report: 83.ai at $32,397 on Dynadot, Greeted.ai at $22,495 and ThirdBrain.ai at $15,996, both through Atom.com. Domain.News had already flagged the Greeted.ai figure a day before NameBio's report backed it up.
Behind the scenes, a NamePros post from Lox notes GoDaddy has added itself to the .si registry's own listing, which looks like the extension plugging into mainstream registrar infrastructure rather than staying a niche play.
Not everyone thinks there's much gold left to dig. A NamePros user posting as TheMVP asked whether anything decent remains after weeks of heavy .si registration, saying some of what's left looks hard to ever sell. Fair question. The good one-word names in any land rush tend to go early.
Also on my radarIs $3.5 million smart money for a one-word .com, and is there still anything worth hand-registering on .si? Tell me what you think in the comments.
